Komen Race for the Cure in Birmingham, AL!

I went by my friend Susan's house yesterday and her and her daughter Hannah were in their driveway painting furniture! They did a great job but while I was there Susan gave me a Race for the Cure sign to put in my yard. Susan is District President of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and the Race for the Cure is their national philanthropy so Zeta's are always very involved!

This year will be the 20th Anniversary for the Race for the Cure and it will be held on Saturday October 15th at Linn Park in Birmingham. There are so many ways you can be involved in the Race for the Cure - you can volunteer, you can form a team of friends, family or coworkers, or you can be a participant and run in the 5K or the 1 mile fun run (or you can walk this one, too!). I'm sure breast cancer has touched us all in some way or another and this is a great way to get involved and support a great cause!
